  1. Check thermostat
  2. Lubricate fan motor, bearings & pump
  3. Inspect gas piping
  4. Check belt tension & condition
  5. Test blower operation
  6. Check furnace safety controls
  7. Check venting system & controls
  8. Inspect heat exchanger
  9. Check pilot safety operation
  10. Check heat rise
  11. Check CO (record)
  12. Clean & calibrate burners
  13. Check electronic ignition system
  14. Clean pilot burner
  15. Inspect secondary heat exchanger
  16. Check gas pressure (clock meter & record)
  17. Check combustion ventilation air
